About UCLA 家庭医学
Consistent with the tripartite mission of the school of medicine, 这是, 病人护理, medical education and research, we seek to improve the health and health care of families and communities in the Los Angeles metropolitan area through the provision of cost effective, 可访问的, high quality medical care for all. 进一步, we sponsor an extensive medical education program for medical students, family medicine residents, fellows and other trainees. 最后, our research division addresses the intercept between academia and community through a focus on vulnerable, elderly and underserved populations.

We welcome you to the UCLA 家庭健康中心 in Santa Monica, where our physicians and staff are dedicated to the care and wellness of every member of your family, from infants to seniors and every age in between. As the main practice site for the UCLA Department of 家庭医学, we provide a wide range of primary care services.
教育
教育 is in all that we do as faculty in the Department of 家庭医学. It is the top priority in our work with thirty-six of the smartest residents from around the country and our passion when we interact with medical students on a daily basis through their formal courses as well as in their community outreach. It is also what drives the huge success of our many fellowships in areas such as sports medicine, addiction and behavioral medicine, and clinical scholars.

The UCLA Department of 家庭医学 研究 Program has one of the most active family medicine research groups in the country committed to improving the quality of primary care and promoting health in partnership with ethnically diverse communities.

UCLA 家庭医学 faculty deliver quality primary- and urgent-care services to homeless shelters. As a critical component of UCLA's 首页less Healthcare Collaborative, the Department of 家庭医学's faculty have been deploying in mobile clinics to expand access to efficient, 公平的, and high-quality healthcare for people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.
